Funjabbi Chak De is all about Sports. The first sport that comes to mind is cricket, but being a funjabbi world we like to do things differently. And herein lays the funjabbi quotient! The extraordinary happenings in Wrestling, Football, Tennis, Swimming and finally Cricket. Make way for extreme comedy and outlandish performances.
The element of competition between Sidhu's and Mandira's team is getting hotter with every new episode. The comedians regularly owe their allegiance to their respective captains and deliver superb performances. This episode is no exception! Mandira's team boasts of two super newcomers on the show - Rajiv Thakur and Parvez Siddhiqui while on the other hand Sidhu seemed comfortable with his Aces - Sunil Pal and Rajkumar Rancho. Stellar performances by all the stand-up performers are the high point of this episode.
The episode takes a stride towards madness when Mandira's funkar, Rakesh Diwana, decides to impress Karishma by dancing his heart out. His USP - he is heavier than Gurpaal and yet can do the right moves, just for our dearest karishma. Madness prevails and everyone is entertained. Sidhu's funkars take the word "performance" to a different level, Shantanu and Sandesh, a handicap couple who set the stage ablaze with their stunts filled dance on hands left the Jury speechless. This episode is an innovative mix of grace and energy all resulting in a few gaping jaws and nods of awestruck approval.
Eventually, a well debated Funchayat results in a tough call. One team emerges victorious but which team is it? Catch the episode of 'Brooke Bond Red Label Funjabbi Chak De' on Star One at 9pm, Saturday.
